Arena

The application menu covers wide selection of ready-made, highly specific system solutions. Many optimized applications are made e.g. to follow fermentation processes and to measure enzyme activities. The open concept of the Arena system is especially suitable for the new method development. It allows customers to set-up their own applications for up to 200 different tests and their variations. Manual methods are easily converted to automatic ones with user-friendly menus. The range of applications as well as the selection of system
reagents is developed continuously.

Applications

Photometric methods require usually simple sample preparation methods. In general, the sample solution should be
· Liquid
· Clear
· Nearly colorless
· Practically neutral
· Homogenous
· Representative
This makes the analysis simple and inexpensive. Very often no sample treatment is needed at all. Sometimes short centrifugation is enough to make the sample homogenous or extraction, dilution or filtration is sufficient for sample preparation. In photometric analysis, due to these simple sample preparations, loss of analyte during the sample preparation is minimal.
